Dustan Mmachali was born on 19 November 1974 in Kiraracha Village- Marangu Moshi, Tanzania. Dustan studied in the same village on his basic education studies and later went for tour guiding course in Arusha Tanzania, where he completed and got his mountain guide licence.
In 1994 Dustan started climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro as trainee for one year, from 1994 to 1995. Dustan Mmachali started working officially as a Mt. guide in 1996. He has been working with more than 20 different tourism Companies where he learnt on how to handle issues on different situations.
Dustan Mmachali has climbed several Mountains in Tanzania and outside the country. He has made to the top Mountain Kilimanjaro, the highest peak of Africa in more than 600 times using different routes. Mr. Dustan has climbed Mt. Meru the second highest peak in Tanzania more than 50 times, also he has made to the top of Mountain Mawenzi the third highest peak of Tanzania more than 10 times. Mr. Dustan has also been going outside the country where he has climbed Mt. Kenya found in Kenya three times and Mt.Whitney found in Calfonia America.
Apart from Mountain climbing Mr. Dustan has visited almost all biggest National Parks found in Tanzania including Serengeti (the biggest National Park in Tanzania), Lake Manyara National Park, Mikumi Natinal Park, Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro conservation Area and Saadan National Park.
Mr. Dustan has been a guide to other sites like in biggest Waterfalls, traditional sites, historical sites, recreational areas like beaches and best hotels.
After 20 years of Mr. Dustan working in different companies in 2018, Mr. Dustan came up with his idea to open a tourim company. He shared it with few experienced Mt. guides and here we have The hiking Heroes.
