Day 2

ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Day 2 ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Starting from your accommodation at 8:00 am, you will receive a short briefing about the safari then depart to Tarangire national park. The Tarangire is located at the southern part of Lake Manyara. The river from which the park takes its name from is a primary source of water for the local wildlife; make it the perfect place to spot large concentration of animal like elephants (large concentration in the country) wildebeests and zebras. Big cats are also frequently seeing during the dry season, and the abundance of baobab trees will surely make it possible for you to collect amazing African postcards. Lunch will take place at the picnic place overlooking the Tarangire River, after lunch you will continue with game drive until late afternoon where you will be driven back to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

  • From Tarangire to Migombani is 1 hour

After breakfast your safari will be taken to Serengeti National Park, this safari shall start as early as possible since it takes almost 5hours to reach, Serengeti is probably the most famous African NationalPark in the world; the Serengeti covers a massive area an hosts a rich and complex ecosystem with a noticeable biodiversity. 1.5 million wildebeests, the biggest population of big mammals that still roam the planet, make their migration through the park every year, joined by hundred thousands of zebras and gazelles and giraffes, impalas, warthogs and hippos live permanently in its land, carnivore as jackals, hyenas, servals andmongoose; howeverthe most popular animals among visitors, commonly known as the Big Five, are lions,African leopard, African bush elephants, Eastern black rhinoceros and cape buffaloes. And this is just a start. After a picnic lunch and some game viewing, you will return to your accommodation where you will freshen up and prepare for the next day safari.

SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO

This day you will have early morning game drive to witness on of the beautiful sunrise you can ever imagine then get back to your accommodation for late morning breakfast, after breakfast the transfer from Serengeti to Ngorongoro crater will begin with on route game viewing, you will have picnic lunch at Naabi Serengeti gate before transfer to your accommodation in Ngorongoro area for dinner and overnight.

Start early in the day to visit the Ngorongoro crater, the world’s largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera formed when a huge exploded volcano and collapsed on it. In the present days, however, far from being a destructive source of hot lava, its actually a natural paradise a considered one of the seven Natural wonders of Africa, home to nearly 25000 large animals , including black rhinoceros, buffaloes,hippos and big cats. The park is also classed as a UNESCO world heritage site. The tour will stop for lunch at the picnic area near the lake, and thereafter the safari to Arusha will began.
