Our driver will pick you at Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO), drive to your hotel in Arusha. In the evening you will meet your safari-guide for a short briefing about the safari.
The morning after breakfast in the hotel, you will meet your driver and guide then drive to the Marangu Gate, the headquarter of Kilimanjaro National Park. After arriving at the gate, your journey begins after you sign the visitor’s book. Enjoy nature, walk about 3 hours until you reach Mandara Hut 2700m. You will have your lunch at the camp before you descend back to the gate. Your driver will be there waiting for you to drive you back to Green Mountain Hotel in Arusha.
The morning after breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you at the hotel ready for the safari. You will head to Arusha National park. Arusha National Park is one of the smallest but beautiful parks for a game drive and walking safaris. The second highest mountain in Tanzania mount Meru is inside this park. After registration at Momella Gate, meet an armed ranger who will accompany you on the walking safari which will allow you to experience the wildlife very closely. After the picnic lunch drives to Fanaka Lodge at Mto wa Mbu for dinner and overnight.
The morning after breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up at the hotel to Tarangire National Park. The park is famous for its large population of Elephants, Big baobab trees, Lions, Gazelle, different species of birds, and many other animals. Picnic lunch will be served inside the park. In the late evening, you will drive to (Ilkiding’ a) the Maasai village in Arusha where you spend evening hours with Maasai men to learn how to prepare the barbecue “nyama choma” before you go to sleep.
Wake up in the morning and join Maasai women to learn how to make coffee. You will participate in the process of roasting coffee in local ways. After breakfast, your guide will take you to visit Ilkiding’ a primary school, the school is not far from where you live. After the school tour, you will spend a few hours walking to the waterfalls. The waterfall is 70m high, one of the biggest in Arusha. Return back to your house for a hot lunch. Our driver will pick you from the village to the airport depending on your flight schedule.
